Spring Hill police report shots fired at Target at The Crossings, ask to avoid area

Police are investigating a shooting at the Target store at The Crossings in Spring Hill, Kansas.

Police were called to the scene around 11:30 a.m. Saturday after receiving reports of shots fired inside the store.

When officers arrived, they found a male victim with a gunshot wound to the leg. Police said the injuries appear to be non-life-threatening.

Police have not released any information about a possible shooter or suspect.

Police are asking people to avoid the area of The Crossings while they investigate.

The investigation is ongoing.
