Indiana Fever Return Home After Three-Week Road Trip
Fever Face Dream in First Home Game Since June
Team Looks to Snap Three-Game Losing Streak
The Indiana Fever are back in action at Gainbridge Fieldhouse today for the first time since June 19. The Fever, who are 6-10 on the season, will face the Atlanta Dream (6-9) in a pivotal matchup for both teams.
The Fever are coming off a three-game road trip, during which they went 1-2. They lost to the Las Vegas Aces, 93-79, on July 2, beat the New York Liberty, 87-84, on July 6, and lost to the Chicago Sky, 83-76, on July 8.
The Dream are also coming off a loss, having fallen to the Connecticut Sun, 91-83, on July 10. Atlanta is led by All-Star forward Rhyne Howard, who is averaging 20.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game.
The Fever will need to find a way to slow down Howard if they want to win tonight. The Fever are also hoping to get a big game from guard Victoria Vivians, who is averaging 17.1 points per game.
