2024 Belmont Stakes to be held at Saratoga Race Course
New York Racing Association announces stakes schedule for Big A spring-summer meet
Race to take place on Saturday, June 8th, as part of four-day Belmont Stakes Racing Festival
The New York Racing Association (NYRA) has announced the stakes schedule for the 2024 Belmont Stakes at the Big A spring-summer meet. The Belmont Stakes, one of the most prestigious horse races in the world, will be held on Saturday, June 8th, at Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, New York.
The Belmont Stakes Racing Festival will feature 24 stakes races over four days, with over $10 million in purses on the line. In addition to the Belmont Stakes, the festival will include the Grade 1 Acorn Stakes, the Grade 1 Metropolitan Handicap, and the Grade 1 Ogden Phipps Stakes.
"We are excited to bring the Belmont Stakes back to Saratoga Race Course in 2024," said NYRA President and CEO Dave O'Rourke. "Saratoga is a world-class racing venue, and we know that the fans will enjoy a fantastic week of racing."
